BREAKFAST WITH THE RELATIVES

For nearly 50 years in Charlotte, The Relatives have been devoted to young people in crisis, the ones on the edge, the seemingly forgotten ones. The Relatives provides social services, a safe place and an accepting environment, which soothes the minds, and uplifts the spirits of the youth they serve. Like with many organizations, COVID 19 forced The Relatives to pivot away from some of their large crowd fundraising events like; Breakfast with The Relatives, which has been a key funding mechanism for several years.

So, we partnered with The Relatives to develop original content to help tell their story, and an integrated digital campaign to drive awareness, engagement and virtual donations. The integrated content strategy included; an explainer video, several testimonial videos, a donation-driven landing page, a social media campaign and an email drip campaign. The key message that drove the content and campaign was, “Your gift, no matter the size makes an impact.” It was an honor to help The Relatives pivot to virtual fundraising during the global pandemic.

LR MECHANICAL

Our assignment was to enable a Charlotte-based HVAC firm to differentiate its services and value prop from the cluttered, competitive landscape and drive leads to its new website. We consulted with the client to develop an online brand style guide, create compelling keyword-driven copy and leverage a WordPress site that would differentiate and drive traffic. The result was www.lrmechanical1.com which features a frictionless user experience which enables the prospective customer to learn about LR Mechanical’s services, their track record, as well as fill out a lead form for direct contact or to set an appointment. LR Mechanical is happy with the jump in qualified leads coming through their newly designed human-centered, web presence.

CONNECTION DAY

Our assignment was to deliver a pre-holiday campaign for Verizon Wireless. The challenge was to reverse the brand’s declining customer base. We solved the problem by creating Connection Day. We gave consumers free premium content at a time when they need it most, on the busiest travel day of the year – the day before Thanksgiving. Partner agencies: Moxie and McGarry Bowen

HIGH FIVE

The assignment was to launch BB&T’s new P2P money sending mobile app ZELLE. Because Zelle is mostly used by millennials, our challenge was to shed BB&T’s 150-year-old conservative image and appeal to a younger audience. The winning idea was a toe-tapping, hand-slapping, energetic campaign featuring young folks on the app while on the go. Partner agencies: LGA and Moxie.

THE BUTTERFLY EFFECT

When a Fortune 500 company has a major data breach, it only makes sense to go dark for a moment. But how do you make the comeback better than the setback? Test, test, and test. For our B2B campaign, we generated over a hundred ideas. We narrowed our ideas down to two; one funny and one serious. Next, we split those into two formats; video and carousel. Each format had two value proposition messages. Surprisingly, the funnier approach performed the best.

Katz Funded Sickle Cell Marketing Fundraising Campaign was initiated to provide the resources needed to further the awareness and cultivation of African-American donors interested in supporting and expanding broad-based clinical and research strategies around sickle cell disease. Working with Propellant Media, we delivered creative assets for video, radio, digital display, social media and experiential.

NO SURPRISES

Most people probably don’t know (or care), but TaxSlayer was one of  the first tax preparation companies to feature a non-celebrity, everyday hero type spokesperson in their advertising. After our campaign featured a helpful young lady in a red dress as the face of TaxSlayer, all the other big tax brands jumped on the bandwagon. You’re welcome.
